World Civility Index

You cannot improve what you do not measure!

The IITTI World Civility Index is somewhat similar to a person’s credit rating, but instead of measuring how well a person can pay his bills, it measures a person’s manners and EQ! Qualities like business etiquette, empathy, and intercultural awareness. This Index is a standardised measurement of soft skills and is a part of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), promoting meaningful employment. Human Capital leaders of many companies are increasingly using this Index to measure a job-seeker’s soft skills in areas such as business etiquette, empathy and intercultural awareness.

Job-seekers can get the credential based on the World Civility Index, as proof, to show employers that they will integrate well with others and are professional in their conduct. Recruiters can incorporate the Index into their process and also encourage candidates to upskill themselves.

For Corporations, this Index creates a reliable and transparent process for building EQ and improving corporate culture. Employees will work better with each other at all levels. The Index provides a simple yet effective way to equip employees with self-paced EQ learning that provides transparent and independent reporting. Corporations can use the Index to measure employees’ soft skills and their ability to work across cultures, which will aid in assessing readiness for promotions or role change.

The World Civility Index provides corporates with a reportable and trackable platform to achieve their ESG Environment, Social, Governance targets, with a specific focus on Social. Index provides an unbiased, independent, 3rd party measurement of ‘care for people’ that will be looked at favorably by investors and shareholders.
